A Beautiful Azalea Bonsai created by our very own Bonsai Master, Jim Robertson. This plant is only 18” tall and only blooms once a year...how special that it bloomed for our conference!

Reverend Akahoshi

Reverend Akahoshi gives a spirited lecture on the life of Nichiren Shonin and the importance of the new Odaimoku Kechien.

Kechi means tie or connection, while en means relation or cause.

Our goal is to make a connection of Odaimoku to all the people. In that way we make a new cause and awaken them with Odaimoku - Namu Myoho Renge Kyo.

Bishop Kanai takes a moment to pose in front of the altar. It was only one of a very few moments when Bishop Kanai was still. He was always moving around to see what he could do for others and to be of service to the group.

Old friends meet and talk...

...while new Friends get to know each other.

And everyone studies and learns the Dharma.
